Kieran Hayler hints that Katie Price won’t be seeing Jett and Bunny at Christmas
She managed to delay bankruptcy proceedings after buying herself an additional month before facing court.
But it looks like Katie Price ‘s misfortune is continuing, after estranged husband Kieran Hayler revealed that he will be looking after their children over Christmas.
Kieran, who has been spotted regularly looking after Jett, five, and Bunny, four, amid Katie’s recent personal and financial woes, took to Instagram Stories to hint that he will be the one spoiling the kids this Christmas.
He said: “Just out walking the dogs and I just wondered if anyone can recommend anywhere for Christmas Eve boxes and some interesting things to put in them for the kids?”
The admission confirms that the former stripper, 31, will be in charge of the pair as they enjoy the magical festive period together with their father.
In September, Katie, 40, came under fire from fans after missing youngest daughter Bunny’s first day at school.
Instead, the former glamour model chose to spend time partying with on/off toyboy Alex Adderson, 25, during a boozy trip to Magaluf.
Meanwhile, Christmas has always been a point of contention between Katie and ex-husband Peter Andre.
Last year, Pete told OK! Magazine that he had custody of kids Junior, 13, and Princess, 11, over Christmas 2017, while Katie would get to see them this year.
He explained: “[They will arrive] around December 22. One year we have them for Christmas and the next it’s New Year. So it’s fair.
“It’s wonderful that all the children are going to be with us in our new home for Christmas.”
Katie has suffered a tumultuous few months – which has included the mum-of-five heading in and out of rehab clinic The Priory to receive treatment for PTSD, on/off romances with both Kris Boyson and Alex Adderson, and mounting financial problems that she is yet to settle.
Last year, Katie publicly slammed Pete for not letting her see Junior and Princess on Christmas day as her mum, Amy Price, is continuing to battle terminal lung disease idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.
"This could be my mum’s last Christmas and Princess and Junior won’t be there. I’m gutted," she told Reveal magazine .
"We don’t have Junior and Princess because they share it with their dad, so it won’t be as exciting as usual. I wish we could share Christmas Day with them. But it’s one year with him, the other with me."
And in 2013 Katie took to Twitter to vent her frustrations at the situation.
She wrote: “What kind of Dad doesn’t let their children see their mum not even 1day over christmas when the children want 2 c their mum #fakefamilyman.”
Mirror Online has contacted a rep for Katie for comment.
