‘When your boyfriend sends you all the flowers in Rome’: Lady Gaga receives a HUGE bouquet from Michael Polansky as she celebrates her 35th birthday while filming House Of Gucci Italy

Lady Gaga was showered with affection from afar by her US-based beau Michael Polansky as she celebrated her birthday in Italy.

The singer, who turned 35 on Sunday, received a huge bouquet of flowers from her boyfriend to her accommodation in Rome where she is shooting scenes for House Of Gucci.

She uploaded an Instagram snap of herself hugging the basket of green and white blooms, wearing a matching set of pink woolen loungewear.

The Grammy winner seemed overjoyed at the gift and captioned the post: ‘When your bf sends you all the flowers in Rome for your birthday. 

‘I love you honey… I can’t wait to be home with you and our dogs, that’s all I need.’ 

Lady Gaga has been dating the 37-year-old tech investor for just over one year and went public with their relationship in February 2020, with a snap of the couple embracing on a yacht in Florida.

They made a recent appearance together at the US presidential inauguration in Washington DC in January and were seen sharing a kiss through their protective face masks.

Gaga brought him as her date as she performed The Star-Spangled Banner before watching Joe Biden and Kamala Harris get sworn in as president and vice president, respectively. 

The singer is said to be ‘crazy about’ Michael, who she met after ending her engagement to agent Christian Carino in 2019.

According to a source for People, the insider said: ‘Gaga had a blast at the Inauguration and was in the best spirits. She’s very happy with Michael and feels grateful for his support.’ 

The two are said to be working on charity projects together as Polansky is a Harvard grad who serves as the executive director of the Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy. 

The insider for People said: ‘Michael has his own life and work, but they also have shared passions, so it’s a nice balance. Things are going really well.’

Gaga is currently in Italy shooting scenes for director Ridley Scott’s upcoming film House Of Gucci, a star-studded crime drama based on real life events.

She is set to star as ‘Black Widow’ Patrizia Reggiana opposite her on-screen husband Adam Driver who will play Maurizio Gucci, heir to the celebration Italian fashion empire.

The movie documents Patrizia Reggiani Gucci’s plot to murder her ex-husband Maurizio, and was found guilty of paying a hit man £240,000 to murder 46-year-old Maurizio Gucci in 1995.

Ever the dedicated actress, Gaga has physically transformed for the role by ditching her signature blonde or pastel locks for a deep chocolate brunette look.

Reggiani put a hit out on her estranged husband after Gucci left her for another woman 10 years previously, telling her he was going on a short business trip from which he never returned.

Reggiani was initially sentenced to 29 years in 1998, which was reduced to 26 on appeal. She served 18 before being released in October 2014.

The film is based on the bestselling novel The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed by author Sara Gay Forden.
