She’s committed herself to round-the-clock sessions in the studio as she puts the finishing touches to her upcoming album, Madame X.

And Madonna took some time out of her busy schedule to indulge her passion for fashion late last week, when she posed for a set of glamorous snaps.

The pop icon, 62, showed off her incredibly youthful visage as she pouted for the camera in a flattering purple Gucci two-piece shorts set.

The seven-time Grammy winner also displayed her agility, as she struck an athletic pose with her foot resting high atop a ballet barre.

Michigan-born Madonna cut a stylish figure for the snaps, highlighting her looks with a rich palette of makeup while she wore her golden locks in a long, sleek blowout.

Sporting a pair of black-rimmed spectacles, the star rounded out her eye-catching look with a pair of fishnet stockings.

Her social media snaps come after she shared another set of images, while revealing that her upcoming album is almost complete.

The veteran musician took to Instagram to share a selection of images taken of her posing inside a recording studio. 

Captioning the images, the star wrote: ‘Hanging onto this guitar and longing for the moment when I can create new ART………….Madame ❌ is almost finished!’

The day before, Madonna had also uploaded a number of monochrome photographs from the same studio.

The studio snaps come after Madonna revealed she had tattooed a red ‘X’ on her right wrist.

The Queen of Pop enlisted Proud of You artist Robbie ‘Ra’ Moore, a Koreatown-based handpoke & machine specialist, to permanently brand her. 

‘Does everyone get really f***ed up when they get tattoos? So they don’t, like, feel anything? Should I drink more wine?’ the self-made superstar nervously asked Robbie.

‘I’m ready, yeah. Do you have a bullet for me to bite down on? Ow, ow, oooooh that hurts. Oh my god, I really don’t like you right now. 

‘Even if I complain, don’t feel like you have to stop. I’m used to people hurting me and also I’m also used to being in pain. Why do you need a bigger needle? Everything is coming into focus now.’

When Madonna told her 15-year-old son David Banda that it was going to be ‘blood red’ he replied: ‘Blood red, huh? Because this revolution business is a bloody business.’

Monochrome: Only a day before, Madonna had uploaded pictures of herself to Instagram which appeared to have been taken in the same studio

Wrapped up: The star also donned a coat in the earlier snaps, only this time it had a large badge on one shoulder and a puffy collar
