Countryfile star Matt Baker is new to social media and has already amassed an impressive Instagram following of over 205,000 users.

By sharing pictures and videos online during lockdown, the presenter has given fans a rare glimpse inside his beautiful countryside residence.

The father-of-two lives in Hertfordshire with his wife Nicola Mooney and their two young children Molly and Luke.

He has been documenting their homelife online since the start of lockdown.

Much to the delight of fans, pictures of the former Blue Peter presenter going about his daily business have given them an insight into his everyday life on their farm.

The family lives in a spacious property with a smallholding.

Social media snaps have captured chickens, donkeys and their family dogs, with one photograph even showing a sheep in his utility room.

The family have a large open plan living area complete with animal print cushions and cosy fireplace.

Their home also boasts a smaller sitting room with stylish light fittings, artwork on the walls and a comfortable sofa adorned with a tartan throw.

Videos of Matt painting and taking part in charity challenges on the picture-sharing site also showcase his stunning garden.

Back in March, the 42-year-old television personality was forced to present The One Show from his living room.

He went into self-isolation shortly after lockdown was announced when one of his family members started showing coronavirus symptoms.

Matt, who hosted the show with co-star Alex Jones for almost ten years, had to present his final show from his family home instead of the studio.

During his last broadcasts, viewers were able to see inside and even got a rare glimpse of his children doing their school work on laptops around the family dining table.
