She recently confessed to having experienced quite the memorable dating disaster, after ‘snotting’ all over a man’s pasta as they dined together.

But Maya Jama showed why she’d still likely get a second date even after committing such a faux pas, when she posted a sizzling bikini snap on Instagram on Monday.

The 26-year-old TV and radio personality looked sensational as she posed in a skimpy yellow bikini while relaxing on a deck overlooking the ocean during a sunny getaway.

The Bristolian beauty proudly displayed her enviably taut abs as she posed with her arms aloft while leaning against a large glass door.

With a patterned hat resting atop her raven tresses, the star opted to keep her makeup minimal, letting her natural beauty shine through.

Captioning the scintillating snap, which attracted a whopping 80,000 likes within 50 minutes of being posted, she simply wrote: ‘Escapism.’

Holiday: The 26-year-old TV and radio personality has not revealed the location of her holiday but has been sharing several updates

The star, who split from rapper Stormzy last year after a high-profile long-term romance, recently spoke her dating disaster while taking part in campaign to match potential dates based on what they like eating.

Dishing the dirt, Maya recalled: ‘I haven’t had a horrible date, but I’ve had a situation where I’ve laughed and a bit of snot [has flown] onto the pasta – snotty pasta! And you can’t really do anything because the snot is there and you’re kinda like… oops!’

Speaking about what she wants from a date, Maya said: ‘I want good conversation flowing and minimum awkward moments.

‘I want to be so entertained by you that I don’t really end up eating all my food because [I’m laughing so much].’

Maya’s blind date was called Dan, and seemed to connect straight away, sitting down and having a laugh right away.

Dan asked her if she gets the chance to date very often, which Maya answered: ‘No I don’t really date, ever.

‘Most of the time I’m too paranoid to meet up with somebody I don’t know, so I’ll get my friends to do a massive CRB check on them and find out their mums last name and stuff.’

Of her dating turn-offs, Maya explained: ‘Rudeness and if we can’t have a laugh… or I’m doing all the talking!

Messy: Dishing the dirt on the previous experience, Maya said, ‘I haven’t had a horrible date, but I’ve had a situation where I’ve laughed and a bit of snot [has flown] onto the pasta’

‘I like someone to make me laugh and I like someone who doesn’t get put off by my disgusting chat.’

Maya admitted to being ‘boisterous’ so if her dates are not put off by that then that’s great.

Of Dan, she later recapped: ‘The conversation was flowing, he was polite and nice.’

The campaign, commissioned by Peperami Chicken Bites, sees single men compete against each other to see if it is a match made in foodie heaven with the presenter.

The experiment follows a recent survey, where thousands of singletons are unveiled that they would only consider a future with someone if they shared the same taste in cuisine and are considered ‘food compatible’.
