Olly Murs pays tribute to Caroline Flack five months after her death: ‘I wish I could call you’

Olly Murs has been reminiscing about the times he spent with his friend Caroline Flack and last night paid tribute to her, five months after she passed away.

The singer posted a clip on Instagram of himself and Caroline playing around behind-the-scenes during a photoshoot for Heat magazine.

Remembering his friend, who tragically died five months ago, the 36-year-old admitted that he "misses her laugh".

Olly wrote in the caption: "Been watching old videos of us all day today Caz!

"Five months have past already and there is not a day that goes by I don’t think about ya! I found this old photoshoot we did, it was the funniest and the best one!

"I’ll never forget it! Even found a video too your laugh was the best, just wish I could call ya and hear it again!"

The pair had become close friends after hosting The X Factor and spin-off show The Xtra Factor together.

Commenting on Olly's social media post, Caroline's friend Dawn O'Porter said: "I love this I love this I love this I love this I can’t stop watching."

Dawn also posted a picture of herself and Caroline at a party to mark the sad anniversary.

The 41-year-old wrote: "Five months. Some days it feels like it happened yesterday.

"Clinging onto my memories like she clung on to fun. I miss you my love," with a heart emoji.

Louise Redknapp also took to social media to share a heartfelt tribute to Caroline with a throwback picture of herself with Caroline and Keith Lemon.

The singer, 45, shared the photo to Instagram on Sunday, she wrote: "I miss you. Always in my heart."

Comedian and TV personality Keith uploaded the same photo to his own social media story as he wrote: "Last time I saw Flack x."

Caroline was laid to rest in a private funeral on 10 March. Caroline's mum Christine opened up about the heartbreaking day, revealing that both friends and family travelled from all over the world to gather at Greenacres at Colney, near Norwich, to pay their respects.

Speaking to The Eastern Daily Press, Caroline's mum Christine explained that the service lasted nearly two hours.

Talking about the day, Christine said: "There were lots of memories, smiles but mostly tears as we all remembered Carrie and the joy she had brought to all of our lives.

"All the family would like to say thank you so much to all Carrie's friends who travelled from all over the world to be there that day and who appreciated why we wanted to bring her back home to Norfolk."
