Luckily the device failed to properly detonate, but still left 51 passengers with serious burns. Many passengers were badly burned, but it was only a ‘matter of luck’ that scores were not killed, prosecutors said earlier this year.

Far from being a total stranger to her art, Keeley admitted she has been flanked by bodyguards in the past so can sympathise with Julia to a degree.

She said: ‘I’ve had a few bodyguards. I had one in Rio who had been shot about four times, and I had a female bodyguard in Mexico City who was 6ft 5in. When a fight broke out at a party, my feet didn’t touch the ground.

‘She had me up, out and into the footwell in the back of the car. The door wasn’t even closed before we were speeding off.’
