TOWIE’s Kelsey Stratford announces sister Kennedy, 8, is home after being hospitalised with covid-19

The Only Way Is Essex star Kelsey Stratford has shared her joy as her sister Kelsey has returned home after being admitted into intensive care with coronavirus.
Kelsey, 20, shared her excitement with fans as she took part with a question and answer session on her Instagram story.
She was asked by a fan: “You & your family are so strong, Kennedy is a fighter, how is she today xxx”.
Kelsey replied to reveal her eight year old sister returning home after being hospitalised with coronavirus earlier this month.

TOWIE star Kelsey said: “She’s coming home from hospital today!!! Believe i cried happy tears all morning she’s the best xxxxx”.
She was then complimented by another of her 125,000 followers for her strength as they said: “I love how you act like nothing is going on at home when really it must be so hard& scary for u”. [sic]
Kelsey then candidly revealed: “Thats all you can do because theres nothing you can do to change it ,you just have to always think positive even in the hardest situations and ive deal with it from a young age so feel like it’s kind of Normal to me now”. [sic]
After her sister returned home from the hospital Kelsey, who recently pulled out of TOWIE filming following her sister’s diagnosis, shared her joy at her sister being home.
She wrote in another Instagram story post: “It Feels so nice for kennedy to finally be home, i know i never show it but ive been constantly stressed and had bad anxiety since she went into hospital to the point where im so tensed up & achey
“but tonight i finally feel a bit better now i know shes home with us….
“i just cant explain the love i have for my precious little girl” followed by a pink heart emoji.
Kelsey then ended her message to thank fans for their support as she wrote: “Thank you every single one of you who message me about my sister you are all so kind” followed by three pink heart emojis.
TOWIE beauty Kelsey’s sister was admitted to intensive care in hospital earlier this month as she battled covid-19.
Kelsey explained how the virus was particularly dangerous for her sister as she has Spinal Muscular Atrophy, which the NHS describe as a “genetic condition that makes the muscles weaker and causes problems with movement”.
The NHS also says the illness is “a serious condition that gets worse over time, but there are treatments to help manage the symptoms”.
As Kelsey’s sibling battled the fatal virus in hospital, the reality star shared her pride on Instagram.

She wrote: “No one understands how proud i am of my baby sister!! [sic]
“Kids who have SMA type 1 normally cannot even survive a common cold, as hey cant even swallow themselves they have breathing problems as it is …”
She continued: “but she is fighting off covid & sepsis… she is ovbiously very poorly, and its taking alot of hard work ofcourse, deep functioning, constant cough assists, constant treatments all day long but she’s not giving up”. [sic]
