Marnie Simpson rose to fame on Geordie Shore in 2013 and has since won Celebrity Big Brother in 2016.

Having battled with an incurable bladder condition and postponing her wedding to fiancé Casey Johnson, it seems as though things are now looking up for the former reality TV star.

In snaps posted to their new home Instagram account @themarcymanor, the couple who got engaged in August 2020, show off Marcy Manor which is their first family home.

The older house seems to be the perfect canvas for Marnie’s creativity and the pictures posted already point at some impressive renovation plans.

The dreamy white property stands tall behind shrubbery and black gates, which can be seen from a video on the profile showing the exterior.

Inside, Marnie explains how she “can’t wait to put our stamp on this property” while initially making flooring choices.

She states that “the previous owners severely neglected the house, the floors are worn to the ground and really old.”

In the accompanying pictures, snazzy flooring samples can be seen varying from dark woods to patterned carpets.

Elsewhere in the home, the landing and chandelier seem to be the main focal point. Marnie describes it as “so bright and spacious and has a huge window letting all the natural light in.”

The home itself came complete with more vintage details which Marnie confesses grabbed her attention upon first viewing the property.

High skirting boards, ceiling cornices and a regal looking fireplace are all details that will be kept in the renovation.

Baby Rox is just 21-months-old and is also a cause for concern in deciding what to do about the fireplace. Marnie explains on her Instagram: “I also have to be very cautious of Rox and his safety so I’m unsure of what to do, I’m thinking I might replace this gas fire with a electric one, I also LOVE stone fires but I’m very indecisive, I like traditional fires too!”

Chances are that followers will be able to watch the spectacular renovation unfold on the home’s Instagram but also get some exciting behind the scenes footage on Marnie and Casey’s upcoming YouTube channel.

Launching on 1 November 2021, the channel will see new videos being uploaded each week and surely, some sneak peeks of the renovations.

The reality star was diagnosed with a chronic UTI back in 2016 but was able to manage her symptoms with the help of bladder medication.

However, just three years afterwards, her life took a turn for the worse and in lockdown, deteriorated further.

She shared on her Instagram: "I thought my life was over forever. living with what felt like shards of glass inside my bladder 24/7 with no relief was utter hell & the crazy thing is NOT ONE PERSON KNEW, I kept majority of my illness & depression private as I was ashamed & embarrassed."
