Mum shares ‘best ever’ hot chocolate bombs recipe to leave foodies drooling
An incredibly simple recipe to make delicious hot chocolate bombs has sent foodies into meltdown.
Australian mum Chantel Mila has racked up more than 160,000 followers on her TikTok page, @mama_mila_, thanks to her clever home hacks and cooking tricks.
And her recent video has proven one of the most popular yet as Christmas approaches.
The clip shows Chantel what she claims to be the “best hot chocolate” ever, in the form of bombs.
To start with, she melts some milk chocolate before filling moulds and placing them in the freezer for 10 minutes.
Chantel then fills the newly-formed balls with hot cocoa powder before finishing them off with marshmallows.
To seal the balls, she pops one half of them onto a warm plate to melt the rim before placing them over the second half.
All that is then needed is to drop the bombs into some warm milk and watch the chocolatey goodness form in front of you.
The simple recipe has been seen more than 9,000 times since being shared last week.
“Wow, wow, thank you so much,” one viewer gushed.
Others said they could not wait to try the simple recipe.
A third asked what chocolate to use, after their’s did not freeze.
“The trick is to use chocolate with a high cocoa butter %,” Chantel replied. “I’m using Cadbury Baking Chocolate here.”
Chantel has previously revealed how to keep cupboards smelling fresh using just two ingredients.
It comes after another foodie shared a clever way to make roast potatoes without using duck fat or flour.
Meanwhile, Nigella Lawson said an unusual addition to a chilli con carne recipe makes it even more delicious.
