Max George was eliminated on the most recent episode of Strictly Come Dancing, and we’re not sure we’ll ever be over it.
Former The Wanted singer showed real potential in the first three weeks of the competition, with Head Judge Shirley Ballas even describing him as "dangerous" after his Jive.
However, his American Smooth failed to impress the judges. As a result, he found himself in the bottom two with partner Dianne Buswell against EastEnders actress Maisie Williams and Gorka Marquez.
The two couples battled it out, but it was the end of the road for Max and Dianne, and fans took to social media to express their shock.

Former Strictly professional dancer James Jordan simply wrote: “Gutted”. While others expressed in detail their shock at his week four exit.
This isn’t the only time that the celebrities voted out have been shocking…
Aston Merrygold and Janette Manrara (2016)
The JLS singer was famed for his street dancing, and ability to backflip at any given moment during his boyband days so success on the show seemed inevitable.
Aston started very strong, he even managed to bag a few 10s in the competition but in week seven he found himself in the dance-off against Mollie King after his Viennese Waltz scored 25 points. Some angry viewers called the show “fixed" after he wasn't saved.
Not a single bet was placed on Aston to leave the competition at betting shop William Hill that week. "In over a decade I cannot think of another elimination where not one single Strictly fan managed to correctly predict who would be eliminated," said William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams at the time. "It has to be the biggest shock elimination since Strictly started in 2004."
Aston later said: “I would loved to have been there until the bitter end. I didn't have to say anything to the exit to be honest. When I came out of the show every single person I saw online had said it all.” In 2018, he did finally get to lift the Glitterball trophy on 2018's Christmas special for his Jive to 'What Christmas means to me' with Janette by his side.
Dev Griffin and Diane Buswell (2019)
The Radio 1 presenter clearly had the musicality thanks to his day job, and his iconic performance of ‘Friend like Me’ dressed as a genie impressed the judges and viewers alike. However, just a week later he was eliminated.
It was once again Dianne who was partnered with the celebrity who many thought went too early. Similar to Max George, he also went out on week four, after he failed to impress the judges with his cha-cha and lost out to Emma Weymouth.
The judges’ decision caused a backlash, and Dianne even had to ask fans to stop sending Shirley death threats for not saving them.
Catherine Tyldesley and Johannes Radebe (2019)
They formed quite the partnership during their short time on the show with the former Coronation Street actress even vowing that Johannes would be her birthing partner if she had another child.
But it was once again the Cha-cha that left the couple fighting for their place on the show.
When she was faced with Mike Bushell in the dance-off many assumed she would get through, but Catherine became the fifth person to leave the competition. However, it wasn’t a unanimous decision and some audience members certainly didn’t agree.

Vick Hope and Graziano di Prima (2018)
The curse of the cha-cha strikes again. Their sizzling chemistry had many thinking they’d be getting close to the final, but it came to a early end after just five performances.
She lost out to Seann Walsh and Katya Jones who’d recently found themselves at the centre of a kissing scandal. Vick has not been very complimentary about the show since her exit. She accused the producers of guiding the judges on who to vote for, and said that Shirley “relished” in critiquing her.
