Inside Molly Mae and Tommy Fury's four year anniversary with surprise visit and roses

She was a social media star and he was a professional boxer, but it was the 2019Love Island villa that saw the two now-23 year olds fall in love.

With Tommy entering the show just hours after the original line-up, it was four days later that he met his match in bombshell Molly-Mae, and the rest is history. Choosing Tommy to go on a first date with, the two hit things off straight away and chose to get together in the series’ first recoupling.

Throughout the show, the pair’s relationship brought viewers plenty of rom-com-worthy highlights, including in Casa Amor when Tommy refused to share a bed with a person who wasn’t Molly-Mae and instead slept outside with her cuddly toy Ellie Belly.

After becoming boyfriend and girlfriend while still in the villa (with the help of Ellie Belly, no less), Molly-Mae and Tommy finished the show in second place, with Amber Gill and Greg O’Shea being crowned winners of the series.

Away from their time on TV, the couple’s relationship continued to go from strength to strength, and in September 2019, the pair moved into Molly-Mae’s Manchester apartment.

By early 2020, the PrettyLittleThing creative director proved that their relationship was serious after taking to her YouTube channel to reveal her and Tommy’s desire to have children.

“We both definitely want children, yes, but obviously we're both only 20 years old,” she said. Meanwhile Tommy added: “I want kids by the time I'm 22, simple as that. She wants six kids, I want eight.”

Then in May that same year, Molly-Mae hinted that Tommy was ready to get down on one knee.

“Tommy would literally propose to me tomorrow if I would let him but I keep saying to him, 'No, let's just wait, let's just wait,' because I'm too young,” she said on her YouTube channel.

She added: “But marriage and kids are two things that will happen soon, hopefully. But, when I say soon I don't mean next week!”

In 2021, the couple sadlyhad around £800,000 worth of goods taken from their apartment, causing them to go on the search for their dream home.

By March 2022, the couple’s property hunt came to an end, and Molly-Mae and Tommy moved into a lavish £4 million property in Cheshire with their two cats, Eggy and Bread.

In recent months, the pair have been busy putting their own stamp on their home and have given the space a complete overhaul, with additions including a huge dining room and “dreamy” office – not to mention the dreamy nursery!

Surprising fans, in September 2022, Molly-Mae took to her Instagram to share a heartwarming montage with her 6.9 million followers in which she revealed her blossoming baby bump.

Captioning the sweet video, she wrote: “I can’t wait for the adventures that we haven’t even dreamed of yet,” followed by an angel emoji.

Tommy and Molly-Mae welcomed the little one into the world on January 23 before taking to Instagram on January 30 to reveal the news to the world.

Alongside the date of the birth in the caption, the creative director shared a snap from the hospital that showed Tommy cradling the little one as she flashed a smile.

Molly-Mae also posted a flurry of pictures to her story that showed Tommy as an already doting dad, while another showed her cradling the baby alongside the caption: "One week old today. I can't believe we get to keep you forever."

She added: "Becoming your mum has been the best thing to ever happen to me… it doesn't seem possible but my love for you grows with each passing moment. There is no feeling like holding you in my arms little one, my heart literally explodes.

"Thank you for entering this world safely for us and blessing us with the gift of being your parents. We promise to love and care for you unconditionally forever."

And on 23 July 2023, the couple announced their engagement with an adorable black and white video.

Alongside the clip, the 24 year old wrote: "Forever. 23/07/23" with an engagement ring and a crying emoji.
