Big Brother's Rylan Clark-Neal says he'll be "devastated" if the show moves and wants a new host

While Big Brother is officially done, off our screens and looking unlikely to come back any time soon, Bit on the Side host Rylan Clark-Neal has revealed that he’d be “devastated” if the show was to come back and opt for a new host.

Speaking to OK! Magazine in their latest issue, Rylan opened up about his Big Brother highlights and discussed how it “changed [his] life”.

“Winning it and finding a husband from it,” Rylan joked of his best moments with the show, before continuing: “No, genuinely, my team. We’re one massive family.

“Fingers crossed Big Brother will be picked up somewhere. I always said I would never leave Big Brother unless I was sacked or not wanted, so if it does go elsewhere and they want a new host then fair enough, but I’ll be devastated.

Big Brother changed my life.”

Rylan has previously admitted that he’s doing “everything in my power” to bring back Big Brother following the series’ final run ending last month.

But, even if Rylan is eventually replaced on the series, it looks like he could have a new gig lined up anyway, what with Rylan being rumoured to take on the role of host of a Supermarket Sweep remake.

Whilst making an appearance on The One Show earlier this month, hosts Matt Baker and Alex Jones asked Rylan whether Sweep was being rebooted.

“Umm, I don’t actually know,” he shared. “I know there’s been discussions about it. Of course, I’d love to do it! It’s iconic, Supermarket Sweep.”

Matt then gathered from this cagey answer that Rylan might be involved if the reboot was to come to fruition. However, the Essex lad explained that it isn’t that simple.

“No, we just like to have a laugh at Big Brother. Put it that way,” he insisted. “But of course, if it could ever happen, I’d love to do it.”

The latest edition of OK! Magazine is out now.
