Corrie fans stunned as Johnny seems to transform into Seb after lad’s death

Coronation Street fans were left stunned as they spotted a "reincarnated" Seb Franklin following his shock death.

Seb was murdered by Corey Brent's gang in a vicious hate crime which left his girlfriend Nina Lucas in hospital with life-changing injuries.

And his death has sent shock waves rippling around the street, with Corrie bosses promising repercussions will continue for "months and months" as Asha, Nina and Abi work to get Corey jailed for his crimes.

But fans noticed an uncanny resemblance between Seb and Johnny Connor on Wednesday as he returned to the Street after a long prison stint.

Johnny entered the back room of the pub after a shower to chat with his wife Jenny, wrapped in a navy towelling robe and with his longer tresses slicked back.

And he did bear a striking resemblance to the deceased youngster, who tended to wear his long dark hair tied up in a messy bun.

As Johnny reflected on how nice it was to shower in privacy and with scented soap, fans flocked to social media to share their shock at his transformation.

"Why has Johnny turned into Seb?" one eager fan wrote on Twitter.

Another said: "Seb reincarnated!"

Daisy seemed to put her foot in her mouth later on as she teased that Jenny had been sleeping with Ronnie.

But she talked her way out of the slip by protesting that she "hadn't been doing so well" with her husband locked up.

Others were left more baffled as Johnny appeared to have regained his sight rapidly after being damaged by his MS.

"Johnny don't look as blind as he was," one fan pointed out, as another posted: "Blimey, Johnny has made a remarkable recovery all of a sudden. The other day he was virtually blind and couldn't stand up properly without falling over!"

"Johnny must've come home from prison via Lourdes. He's made a miraculous recovery!" someone else said.

"Epic recovery!" another fan chimed.

Later in the episode, Jenny had to defend her marriage to Daisy.

"I'm warning you, any stirring on your part […] and you'll be out on your ear!" she warned, as Daisy stammered: "Seriously, I wouldn't."

And things continued to heat up between Sharon and Dev, as Sharon used the shop owner to get access to Aadi's Xbox and communicate with Simon.

It's the latest step in her scheme to lure Leanne and her son back to the Street to attempt to free her drug-dealer nephew Harvey from prison.

But Dev was left red-faced as Sharon disappeared from his house after ordering him to make her a Sex on the Beach cocktail.
