Dr Hilary kicks off at Piers Corbyn over coronavirus hoax beliefs

Good Morning Britain’s Dr Hilary Jones kicked off at Jeremy Corbyn’s brother Piers Corbyn over his doubts on the existence of coronavirus on today’s programme.

The television doctor was left seething after Piers joined the programme and shared his views that Covid-19 is a hoax and that vaccinations against viruses are ‘dangerous’.

Piers also disagrees that coronavirus is a pandemic and instead says it’s a ‘psychological operation to close down the economy.’

The segment got heated pretty quickly, with Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid calling out Piers’ remarks.

However, it was Dr Hilary who really saved the day with his stunning take down.

‘It’s expertly dangerous what we’ve just heard,’ Dr Hilary said. It’s littered with errors, absolutely littered with dangerous errors.

‘The virus has been identified by the electron microscope.’

Dr Hilary then explained why coronavirus is nothing like viruses we’ve seen before, before putting Piers in his place.

‘All of your statements are dangerous,’ he continued. ‘You are dangerous. You shouldn’t be preaching, you’re not medically qualified. I don’t know where you get your rubbish fake news from and you shouldn’t be on air.’

Viewers were stunned by the scenes at hand and flocked to Twitter in total disbelief.

‘Dr Hilary Jones squaring up to Piers Corbyn on Good Morning Britain. Fantastic effort Dr Hilary but there’s no way this denier is going to listen to anyone. 10/10 effort,’ wrote one.

Echoing a similar sentiment, another added: ‘Go Dr Hilary! Fantastic way of showing Piers Corbyn how dangerous his views are.’

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays from 6am on ITV.
