Emmerdale spoilers: Victoria and David die in huge drowning stunt?
Emmerdale is filming what seems to be a huge stunt which plunges Victoria Barton (Isabel Hodgins) in serious danger of drowning – with David entering the water to try and save her.
Isabel was spotted with Matthew Wolfenden, who plays David Metcalfe, in Teeside at a hotspot for water sports, which is currently closed to visitors.
Victoria was in the water, and the character appeared to be struggling as if she were drowning.
A source from the scene told Metro.cok: ‘The scenes being filmed are clearly very big and from what I gathered they are for ITV’s Super Soap Week.
‘Matthew and Isabel were all there with cast and I could see there was a stunt being filmed.’
Metro.co.uk has reached out to representatives for Emmerdale for comment but they don’t speak about future storylines.
ITV’s Super Soap Week regularly showcases spectacles for the ITV soaps during October, with both Emmerdale and Coronation Street promising high drama.
During the filming, Matthew and Isabel took some time out to film what may be a social video, in which they described one of the ‘biggest stunts’ the show has done and adding that the water was very cold.
Coronation Street has also been spotted filming on location with the potential escape of Will Mellor’s villainous drug baron Harvey.
Victoria and David’s story has seen them grow closer of late, something which hasn’t escaped the notice of sinister Meena.
After foraging through Victoria’s home recently, she was poised to kill her with a paperweight but Victoria evaded death – for now.
Whether or not the scenes of Victoria plunging into the water will be accidental or an act of violence from Meena remains to be seen.
Meena has already killed twice before – her old friend from before she entered the village, and teenager Leanna Cavanagh, who unearthed the murderous truth.
