Emmerdale's Ross Barton has his biggest secrets exposed tonight

Emmerdale fans can expect a new showdown between the Barton brothers tonight (April 23) as Ross’s recent self-destructive behaviour is finally exposed.

Ross (Michael Parr) has his big secrets blown by Rhona Goskirk when she finally gets fed up with covering for him.

Tonight’s Emmerdale episode sees Ross become desperate for pills yet again, which leads to him breaking into the vets to steal some.

Rhona (Zoe Henry) is shocked when she catches Ross red-handed, having previously been led to believe that he was on the road to recovery after his addiction.

Although Rhona tries her best to talk Ross round, she’s shaken by his desperation when he angrily refuses to hand the pills back over to her.

Realising that she can’t handle this one alone anymore, Rhona goes straight to her boyfriend Pete (Anthony Quinlan) and tells him what a bad state his brother is in.

Rhona doesn’t just reveal the truth about Ross’s painkiller addiction, but also his attempt to make a move on her last week.

The revelation culminates in a big clash between the Bartons, with Pete left deeply worried about his brother’s state of mind – especially with the acid attack trial just one day away.

Can anyone get through to Ross?
