Gordon Ramsay, Gino D’Acampo and Fred Sirieix return to ITV next week as the trio head to the Greek islands and the historical city of Athens for their latest adventure. The trio’s friendship will be pushed to its limits in the new series and Gino has already spoken out on Fred’s “very annoying” habit.

Gordon, Gino and Fred will be back behind the wheel as they take turns to drive their RV around the Greek islands.

The trio will be island hopping on a catamaran as well as jet ski racing and shipwreck diving.

ITV viewers fell in love with the trio’s friendship during their road trip series but Gino teased they’ll be plenty of bickering this time around.

Revealing his co-star’s most annoying habits, he said: “Fred’s driving is always very annoying and very slow.”

“Gordon throwing sand all over the sausages on BBQ was not ideal,” he continued.

“If anyone else did that he would have gone crazy!”

The friends first set off together in 2018 for ITV’s Gordon, Gino and Fred: Road Trip.

Their second series Gordon, Gino and Fred: American Road Trip aired last year.

There have also been three Christmas specials in 2018, 2019 and 2020.

Gino admitted he was pleased to be reunited with Gordon and Fred on the Greek islands.

He said: “The last trip with Gordon and Fred was very, very cold so it was brilliant to be back in the sunshine and enjoying the beautiful islands together.”

“I loved being able to captain the boat and making the guys say ‘YES CAP!’ to me.

“We had lots of fun but we also had some lovely, special moments together too.”

Gino continued: “The Greek Islands were amazing, I loved discovering all the local food and traditions.

“The people were brilliant and so welcoming to us. I hadn’t been to Athens before but it was great and felt very historical – The Panathenaic Stadium was incredible.”

Sharing his favourite food experiences from the series, he added: “There was such a variety of food experiences on this trip.

“On the islands, there was lots of amazing, fresh seafood to explore.

“In Athens, we had lots of amazing inland food experiences – myself and Gordon worked very well together in a souvlaki showdown with the locals – it was brilliant.

“The truffle hunting was a very different experience.. a real-life treasure hunt.”
