I’m A Celeb first trailer drops for new series, giving glimpse of Welsh location

ITV have taken to social media to give eager fans the first viewing of the promotional trailer for this year's I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!.

In light of the coronavirus pandemic, the show has swapped sunny Australia for rural North Wales, with celebs getting their heads down in a haunted castle.

Hosts Ant and Dec arrive in a famous black cab before celebrating being "back Down Under" while joking that the journey was super quick.

A confused Declan Donnelly later views a map that shows they're not in Aus, but in fact in Abergele.

Shortly after Ant jokes that their map is "upside-down" the camera pans out to reveal the stunning Welsh landscape where they're set to spend the next few weeks.

Celebs taking part in the show will be forced to endure three weeks at Gwrych Castle in Abergele, which is believed to be haunted by Winifred, Countess of Dundonald.

They're also expected to come into close contact with extra-terrestrial life, with the site reportedly being an alien hotspot.

Sources close to the show previously told Daily Star Online: "Producers have picked an area that has had numerous unexplained sightings.

"If there are any extra-terrestrial visitors, it will certainly make for good telly."

The teaser also confirmed that series 20 of the show is to air on ITV next month, with viewers descending on the replies section thanking bosses.

"We all need this and you Ant and Dec!! Looking forward to a more challenging series for our celebs," said one.

While a second added: "Oh, my goodness, I can't wait!!! It'll be so good to have them back on my screen for 3 weeks straight!!"

A third penned: "Yay yay yay! So excited for this! It's going to be different and I'm so excited."
