Im A Celebs Danny Miller says he stuck to camp conditions during castle evacuation

I'm A Celebrity's Danny Miller has revealed that he stuck to camp conditions after the contestants were evacuated from Gwrych Castle due to Storm Arwen.

During Wednesday's episode, the celebrities were emotionally reunited after they were forced to go back into quarantine over the weekend due to the "extreme" weather conditions.

It comes as I'm A Celebrity returned to TV screens on Tuesday (30 November) after Gwrych Castle was hit by Storm Arwen, resulting in "technical issues" and the contestants being removed from the camp.

Talking about his time away from the ITV show, Danny, 30, insisted he stuck to camp conditions and even slept on the floor.

During the episode, Louise Minchin told Frankie Bridge and Danny of eating a chocolate bar while away: "I literally tried not to inhale it. It went straight through me – ill."

While Frankie added: "I ate a whole fruit and nut and a whole bag of Squashies."

However, despite his campmates enjoying sweet treats while away, Danny insisted that he stuck to the camp's strict conditions.

The Emmerdale star said: "I stuck to it [Castle life]. I didn’t even sleep in the bed."

While he added in the Telegraph: "I only ate rice and beans whilst away from the Castle."

Talking about returning to camp, Frankie said: 'It feels so amazing to be back, which are words that I never thought would come out of my mouth. I never thought I’d want to see a Castle ever again."

While Louise added: "It’s not quite like being at home but it is like coming home and it’s absolutely wonderful. I’ve missed everyone!"

It comes after I'm A Celebrity gave viewers a "sneak peek" of the celebrities' emotional reunion during Tuesday's episode.

During the clip, Danny sent fans wild with his "amazing" entrance as he shouted: "Here's Danny!" before doing an impressive forward roll into the campsite.

He then added in the Telegraph: "I'm buzzing to be back, never thought I’d say that but I am absolutely buzzing to be home."

And after reuniting with David Ginola, Danny exclaimed: "To see the beautiful David Ginola, who I dreamt about during isolation…"
