Michael Landon was best known for his roles in Bonanza and Little House on the Prairie.
In an interview with Vegas Film Critic and host, Jeffrey K Howard, she said how Michael had inspired him as a child.
Landon had starred in Highway to Heaven when she was five-years-old and she was able to watch the series with him while he was still alive.
She said: “He died when I was seven. Little House was on in the morning so I used to watch it before school.
“I had never seen the pilot of that show and right before I started working on Yellowstone I was like ‘I should make sure I watch all of Little House on the Prairie’.”
Her father was also known for his roles in Western films and he had starred in Wanted Dead or Alive and The Legend of Tom Dooley.
Teeter in Yellowstone embodies everything her father would have loved in a character.
