Love Island fans fume over public vote as show introduces format shakeup
Love Island viewers were left rather annoyed after they discovered that a new voting system was introduced that many were completely unaware of.
The brand new series of the highly anticipated dating show kicked off on ITV2 on Monday night, with many UK viewers tuning in to the show.
But unlike previous years where the contestants had some choice with who they got to couple up with, this year the couplings were in the hands of the viewers who voted which pairs they wanted to see together.
However, spectators online were clearly perplexed by the new format and began yo question when the vote actually took place.
Jumping onto Twitter, fans shared their thoughts.
One person fumed: "When was the public asked?"
