The Love Island villa is getting another new boy

It was an almost-ominous ending to tonight’s (June 20) Love Island, when Rosie Williams and Samira Mighty had a heart-to-heart about being the only single girls in the villa.

Rosie was trying to look on the bright side of single-hood and told Samira it meant they’d have their pick of the next boys to arrive on the island.

Well, it turns out it won’t be a very long wait, as a new boy is set to enter the villa tomorrow! (Yes, that’s boy, singular, meaning their may be a fight for his affections.)

Get ready to meet Sam Bird aka ‘The Bird’, a chiseled-bodied personal trainer, who claims girls often tell him he’s “too pretty”.

In his promo video, Sam boasts that he is ready to “get into the Island, swoop down and take a girl under [his] wing”. Charming…

Sam says he is looking for a girl with energy and lots of attitude, who can tame him when he’s being “a bit naughty”. And when he likes a girl, forthright Sam isn’t afraid to tell her: “I fancy you. You obviously fancy me. Let’s make this happen.”

Fully embracing his pun-able surname, Sam ended by warning viewers: “When The Bird’s got his eagle eye out, no one is safe.”

Sam already has a reality TV connection, as he trained Georgia Toffolo before she entered (and won) I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.

In videos posted to his Instagram, the pair are seen hitting the gym together and even doing a bit of boxing.

Hope you're ready for tomorrow's session @toffgeorgia ?
