Cally – who shot to fame in the first season of Love Island in 2015 – took to Twitter following the accident and urged her followers to go careful on the roads.

She said she suffered minor injuries and confirmed Vienna – her child with Love Island co-star Luis Morrison – is fine.

She wrote: "Guys please go careful on the roads just had horrid car accident n I'm shook I beg u all go careful I'm one of the lucky ones #feelingblessed.

"There was a quick traffic build up on the motorway and the sun was low, and by time I saw the car slammed on was too late.

"Vienna was fine – I have few mild injuries, but just thankful wasn't a whole lot worse. I feel very blessed, but very shook up."

When Cally was expecting Vienna, she said the stress of her and Luis' relationship took its toll on her pregnancy.

She said: “I didn’t enjoy my pregnancy at all.

“We were arguing about daft stuff and she was in my tummy the whole time.”

Luis admitted he had done the dirty on Cally and told his fans he was doing everything he could to make things right between them.

The couple briefly split but are now back together.

He explained: “I’m trying my hardest to get my family and Cally back and put things right.

“I love her more than the world and people make mistakes, and people say that in life you don’t make mistakes then you’re lying.

"I’m getting myself together and will sort this certain situation out.”
