Not even Coronavirus lockdown will keep Kim Kardashian from having makeup done
Los Angeles mayor, Eric Garcetti, issued a stay-at-home order and put Angelenos on a Coronavirus lockdown unless it was absolutely essential, and Kim Kardashian has been grounded with her four children and husband Kanye West but it was her make-up that she felt risking it all for.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star admitted that she called upon her little sister Kylie Jenner’s MUA skills to help her for her appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Unable to get hold of her usual glam squad as everyone obeys the rules and hunkers down while the pandemic rages on, Kim snuck over to her mum Kris Jenner’s house and teamed up with Kylie.
Speaking on the show, she said: ‘I’m in my mum’s glam room. Kylie did my makeup and my hair. I don’t have anyone to do it and I’m not that good so she like did all my makeup.
‘And that’s the first time I’ve seen her cause the whole family is distancing. We haven’t even seen each other. So I snuck out and I am at my mom’s house in her glam room cause there’s a door from the outside so this is all she will let us in. And I had to get away from my kids.’
But, for the most part Kim has been thinking of ways she can help frontline hospital staff during the coronavirus pandemic.
Speaking earlier this week on The View, the 39-year-old reality star revealed that her SKIMS brand could help produce items for medics including much-needed protective equipment while they care for coronavirus patients.
‘We have five factories all in different countries. And we have been exploring that, of how to make like medical-grade masks, how to make things that would be helpful in the hospitals.
‘I’ve been working with our partners in other companies that have donated masks and we’re working with our fragrance company to get sanitiser made.
‘It’s a huge shift in what we do, and we’re so happy that we’re seeing some good information that we’re gonna be able to help out.’
Kim, who shares North, six, Saint, four, Chicago, two, and Psalm, 10 months with husband Kanye West, has also donation $1 million (£911,000) to help families affected by the virus which has killed nearly 50,000 people worldwide.
