Olly Murs demands pay rise to return to The Voice after stripping off naked to celebrate winning the show
OLLY Murs celebrated his act winning The Voice by sitting butt naked on fellow coach Tom Jones’s spinning red chair.
And now he’s eyeing another reward for his efforts — a bumper pay rise.
The Essex singer has revealed he’s entered talks to appear in a third successive series and believes he deserves more cash.
In an exclusive chat, Olly said: “There have already been negotiations in regards to my return to The Voice next year.
“Obviously I won this year — there will be heavy negotiations for a bonus next year, that’s for sure.”
Olly coached 18-year-old Molly Hocking to glory on Saturday night, beating Bethzienna Williams, Jimmy Balito and Deana Walmsley in the final.
Her victory prompted epic celebrations and, in Olly’s case, it was minus his clothes.
He explained: “Whenever I win anything of significance I take off my clothes. It’s The Voice chair. I thought, ‘I might not get this opportunity again’.
“It was my opportunity, I was drunk, it was the after-party, so I jumped on it to get a photo. I was 100 per cent butt naked.
“It was actually Tom’s chair as well. I partied all night. I was still up with the birds at 6.30am.”
Now Olly faces the toughest challenge of his career — getting chart success out of a Voice winner.
The show has failed to create a star of significance since it first aired in the UK in 2012.
And even mega-enthusiastic Olly is realistic over Molly’s chances, despite her now being signed to top label Polydor.
He said: “I can’t guarantee Molly is going to be a No1-selling artist. It all comes down to Molly’s vision and her creative team.

It seems Molly might already be starting to feel the pressure.
Yesterday afternoon she fainted during an interview with an ITV regional news show but was back on her feet after being comforted by her team and given a glass of water.
