Paris Jackson has scathing response for family members who fear she's heading for a 'serious meltdown'

It comes after the the 20-year-old free spirit shocked her nearest and dearest last month when she shared a video on Instagram walking along a skyscraper ledge in the dark.

Family members were said to be concerned about her behaviour but Paris has spoken out and asked them to get in touch if they're worried.

Speaking on Instagram stories, she said: "So apparently people think I’m about to die.

"My therapist texted me about it laughing though, so that’s good.

"So I guess to the family members that are talking to all of these news outlets saying they’re worried for me: When is the last time you called me?"

The 20-year-old added that her brother isn't concerned because of their close relationship.

She continued: "Prince isn’t worried. Why? Because we talk all the time. We hang out. If you’re worried about me, call me."

Page Six reported that her family were worried she'd gone too far after the skyscraper clip which she captioned: "I almost died".

Speaking to the publication, an insider claimed the daring video was even worse than her father Michael's infamous baby dangling moment at a hotel in Berlin.

They said: “But this is worse than that because I still think Michael had control of Blanket and they weren’t nearly as high up as Paris is in this video. She’s lost it. She really has.”

“Everyone saw that video, and even though we all knew that she’s now OK, watching it was so traumatic that nobody wants to show it to either Katherine or Joe [Paris's paternal grandparents].”

Adding that there are no plans to stage an intervention to avoid "serious meltdown", the insider continued: “It’s not happening, but everyone will regret it if she dies out there.”

Paris is currently in a relationship with British model Cara Delevingne, with the pair recently spotted passionately kissing in Los Angeles.

In December Paris took a backpacking trip to France and was seen sitting on a dirty pavement smoking before scaling a lamppost, leading some fans to worry her carefree attitude could get her into trouble.

Paris has made no secret of her troubled past and in 2013 tried to take her own life.

Her father’s brother Jermaine promised he was looking out for her however.

In an interview with The Sun Online, Jermaine said: “We're very proud of Paris. I just think we have to make sure she is ok because this business not kind to anybody. It can break you.

“You have to know when to hold them, when to fold them, when to make your move and when to hold back.

“She's had an incredible logic path – she's had the entire Jackson family legacy as the logic.

“Her tough challenges are going to come down the road because there is always going to be a fork in the road and you have to know whether to turn left or right. You have to pull yourself together.”
