Spoilers: Callum discovers a horrible triple murder in EastEnders

Callum Highway (Tony Clay) is in for the shock of his life when he discovers that the recent car crash that killed Raymond’s family in EastEnders was no accident – in fact it was a revenge attack in order to make the very dangerous Ellie (Mica Paris) pay for her own crimes.

As it becomes clear that Ellie is a hardened criminal with people after her blood, Callum shares the information he has learned from DI Thompson with Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden). As Phil learns Ellie’s contact details, he is straight in contact with her, demanding a meeting.

Ellie arrives at the Arches and Phil confronts her about her lies and about her true nature. As Ellie lays out what she wants, it’s clear that Phil has a battle on his hands.

As Ben tries to diffuse Phil’s temper, he advises his dad that the only way through this is to fight for custody properly – which is where Denise Fox (Diane Parish) comes in.

With Ritchie having advised that no court in their right mind would hand a child to Phil (harsh, but true), he asks Denise to stand up as the guardian for Raymond and he will secretly pay all of the legal fees.

As they execute a plan to start digging for ways to prove that Ellie is unfit to care for Raymond, Callum heads back to the office and does some more digging on Ellie – only to be caught by Thompson.

Callum quickly explains that this could be the way to win Phil’s trust – but will Thompson give Ellie the heads up on what is going on?

And if so, given that Ellie’s crimes have led to several horrific deaths in the recent crash, how much danger are the Mitchells, Callum and Denise about to find themselves in.

Oh well, at least Denise doesn’t have serial killer Lucas to worry about these days. Oh, wait…
