Spoilers: Gary joins forces with Ray to destroy the cobbles in Corrie?

Gary Windass (Mikey North) is having money troubles aplenty in Coronation Street at the moment, but will he turn to villain Ray Crosby (Mark Frost), who’s evidently hellbent on taking over the street?

Gary is on the receiving end of Maria Connor’s (Samia Longchambon) rage when she discovers a huge credit card bill and proceeds to accuse him of having hidden it from her.

In an effort to save on the cash, the former loan shark reveals that he’s going to have to cut Fiz Stape’s (Jennie McAlpine) hours at the furniture store, but this conversation is overheard by Ray.

Ray pops by and offers Gary a proposition, revealing that he’s interested in buying the factory, and is willing to offer him £150,000 for it.

Gary’s not interested in selling, but Maria reckons he should do just that, as she wants the money to buy the barbers from Audrey Roberts (Sue Nicholls).

However, Gary’s attention is diverted elsewhere when he receives a letter informing him of a rent increase at the furniture store, and therefore Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) is forced to reveal that he had to sell the premises to Ray earlier this year.

Gary’s interest is piqued once again who David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) reveals that Raay offered to buy his home.

Gary therefore confronts Ray, and demands he double his offer on the factory.

Will Ray do so?

What’s more, could this be the start of a new, dangerous alliance?

Will Gary join forces with Ray?
