Tipping Point fans confused by player’s ‘easy’ nursery rhyme question blunder

Tipping Point fans were left scratching their heads on Monday as ITV aired the latest episode of the popular game show.

Host Ben Shephard welcomed four contestants to the television studio as they battled it out to win the highly sought after cash prizes.

Charlie, Sophie, Kylie and Lorraine all answered a series of questions to win turns on an arcade-style machine.

Dropping tokens down a choice of four chutes, they each hoped to knock piles of the counters off a moving shelve – the more they collected, the greater the prize fund.

Contestant Sophie, a nurse from Swansea, got viewers talking during the latest instalment of the ITV quiz show as she admitted she had never heard of iconic children's song Puff The Magic Dragon.

Viewers took to their keyboards to discuss Sophie's surprising confession.

Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: "Never heard of Puff the Magic Dragon? Before her time I suppose."

Another added: "She doesn't know Puff the Magic Dragon! I feel old!"

While a third person said: "How the f**k don’t you know Puff the Magic Dragon?"

"Who hasn't heard of Puff the Magic Dragon? Jesus Christ," a fourth moaned.

Sophie was the second contestant to be given the boot during the episode, while Kylie's Tipping Point was found during the first round of the show.

Charlie and Lorraine were left to go head-to-head in the third round.
