Trust Me spoiler: Dr Watson catches Zoe stealing drugs as creepy hospital drama takes another weird twist

BBC's new show Trust Me has got everyone talking – but with patients dying left right and centre, just who is the Angel of Death in this new hospital drama?

Well that question could be answered in episode three as in an exclusive spoiler from the show, we find out that Dr Zoe Wade (Katie Clarkson-Hill) has been caught stealing drugs by Dr Archie Watson (John Hannah).

The show is set in the neurological unit of a Glasgow hospital, with Corporal Jamie McCain – a survivor of a shock enemy attack – recovering from a spinal injury which has left him temporarily paralysed.

He has become convinced that a doctor in the hospital is killing off patients, and doesn't want to be next.

In a clip from next week's episode Dr Watson summons Dr Alex Kiernan (Richard Rankin) to his office.

He then says: "I'm glad you have come to see me, I need to speak to you as a matter of urgency."

Dr Watson then shows Alex the clip of Zoe stealing the drugs on CCTV.

The pair look at each other concerned, with Alex asking: "So what are you going to do now?"

Dr Watson then says: "Get Zoe's side of the story, but if this is what it looks like then you and I are going to have to nip this in the bud ASAP."

The clip ends with Alex handing over some papers and saying: "She's just given me this."

This tease is bound to have fans on the edge of their seat as the drama takes an even more sinister turn.

The show kicked off last week with Jamie, who is played by Alfred Enoch, discovering, through the help of Danny (Elliot Cooper), that several patients had been dying and nobody knew the actual cause of their deaths.

It appeared that Jame wasn’t taking the message about the Angel of Death seriously until Danny suddenly died, consequently triggering Jamie to take action.

By the end of the episode, Jamie was seen getting out of his bed and pushing himself to crawl to Danny’s bed in order to obtain his iPad which could hold vital information related to the Angel of Death.

This week, after barely speaking in episode one, Jamie finally opened up to Dr Zoe and told her of Danny’s data.

She seemed to be intrigued by the idea but brushed it off, making Jamie feel even more paranoid than he already did.

However, Zoe soon discovered the iPad and looks into each case realising that every victim had low blood sugar levels when they died.

But after seeing this exclusive clip, fans will be wondering if Zoe was keen to see the iPad because she has something to hide.

Meanwhile, the show isn’t structured to provide answers in every episode. Instead, it will be a buildup between multiple plots that will connect the dots by the time the series concludes.

The medical staff come with their own lies and secrets.

What became an interesting turn of events, viewers learned that the medical staff isn’t as perfect as they may seem.

Dr. Watson, is secretly having an affair with a physiotherapist (Ashley Jensen) while Dr. Zoe (Katie Clarkson-Hill) takes stolen prescription pills to herself in order to numb the thought of her own past drama.
