UTA Promotes 50 Staffers Across 20 Divisions

The promotions encompass employees at various levels of the talent agency


UTA has promoted 50 staffers across 20 divisions in multiple offices, the agency announced on Wednesday. This year alone, UTA announced over 150 promotions in total.  

Although the agency didn’t provide names, the promotions, which encompass employees at various levels of the company, come from departments including Audio, Business Affairs, Digital Talent, Endorsements & Voiceover, eSports, Finance & Accounting, Human Resources, Information Technology, IQ, Marketing, Music, Production, Sports Content, Corporate Strategy, Corporate Services, Talent, TV Lit, Unscripted Television and Ventures, among others.

The elevated group represents a wide range of backgrounds and experiences across gender and ethnicity. Close to 60% of those promoted identify as women and a third identify as people of color.

Additionally, over 90% of those promoted to agent and over 80% of those promoted to coordinator started their careers in the Agent Training Program, and over 80% of those promoted to Executive started as Assistant.

The move comes after the agency back in May promoted over 100 staffers across more than 30 divisions and multiple global offices, marking the most employees the agency has promoted at one time in the agency’s 30-year history.
