When does Deep Heat start on ITV2?

ITV2 has announced a brand new sports comedy which follows the life of a wannabe wrestler.

Written by comedy duo Max and Ivan, here's what we know about Deep Heat so far.

When is Deep Heat on ITV2?

Deep Heat is set to premiere on ITV2 in March 2022.

A release date is yet to be provided by ITV but should be released very soon.

The sports-comedy series will air 6 episodes which are said to be 30-minutes in length.

What is the Max and Ivan show about?

Deep Heat tells the story of a wannabe wrestler played by Jahnnah James.

The story follows the young lady's journey as she prepares to take on big-time wrestlers as a underdog.

ITV shared, ‘We join the Boss Pro crew as they look toward a summer of slams and self-discovery – can our underdogs come together and come out on top to put on the show of a lifetime?’

Who is in the cast of Deep Heat?

The cast includes:

Max & Ivan

Max Olesker and Ivan Gonzales are a comedy duo with experience writing comedic scripts.

The comedy duo will appear in the new ITV2 show alongside a few familiar faces.

Max and Ivan have a narrative podcast called Fugitives.

The podcast releases a comedic audio that tells the story of two tech developers who find themselves sucked into the world of 'fake news', bots and Big Data organisations.

Jahannah James

Jahannah will play the role as the wannabe wrestler.

She has starred in a variety of screenplays such as Brotherhood and Body of Water.

Richard Fleeshman

Richard played the role of Francis Drake in the CW series Reign.

He later took on the role of Andy in the West End's Stephen Sondheim's Company.

Pippa Haywood

Pippa Haywood will also star in the new ITV2 comedy show.

She made an appearance in the Netflix hit show Bridgerton as Mrs. Colson in 2020.

Alistair Petrie

Alistair Petrie is a versatile actor and may be recognised for playing a variety of roles in numerous TV shows.
