Keeping Faith airs every Saturday evening at 9pm on BBC One and the entire series is available to stream now via the BBC iPlayer. Who is Rose in Keeping Faith?
Rose Fairchild is a brand new character to the welsh legal drama, Keeping Faith.
In episode two, it was revealed Rose is the mother of solicitor, Faith Howells (played by Eve Myles).
Rose walked out of Faith and her family when she was just 15-years-old and after 25 years of no contact, she has reappeared, turning Faith’s world upside down.
Not only is Faith separating from her husband Evan (Bradley Freegard), but she is also fighting to get justice for Osian.

The last thing Faith needed was for her estranged mother to turn up, announcing she wanted to fix everything before she died.
The pair have a severely strained relationship, so much so, Faith and Evan had to discuss whether Rose would be allowed to meet her grandchildren.
Faith rejects Rose’s request to see her grandchildren, which sees Rose begin legal proceedings to have access to her grandchildren.
Faith was right to not trust her mother, who begins to blackmail Faith in a bid to see her grandchildren.
Rose is aware of Faith’s involvement with Gael Reardon (Anastasia Hille) and has the photographic evidence to prove it.
Who plays Rose in Keeping Faith?
Celia Imrie plays the role of Rose in Keeping Faith season three.
Imrie described her character as: “Tough, regretful, and ruthless”
Imrie added: “[Rose] wants to make amends with her past but has left it all too late.”

Speaking about what drew her to the role, Imrie said: “Pip Broughton our glorious director, Eve our stupendous lead.
“And our magnificent producer Maggie Russell, who sowed the seeds of the idea for me to play Rose when I was blown away at the screening of the very first ever episode.”
Viewers will most likely recognise Imrie from her role as Victoria Wood in the BBC sketch show, Victoria Wood: As Seen on TV.
She is also well known for playing Philippa Moorcroft in the sitcom dinner ladies.
Fans may also recognise Imrie from her role as Una Alconbury in Bridget Jones and Mrs Quickly in Nanny McPhee.
More recently, Imrie starred in the film Malevolent as Mrs Green and the Vice-Chancellor in Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again.
She is also well known for playing Phil in Better Things and Mary Xavier in Legends of Tomorrow
Keeping Faith airs Saturdays on BBC One at 9pm and is streaming on the BBC iPlayer now
