Creepy Vladimir Putin doll with ‘bloodied’ hands hanged outside Russian embassy

A 'blood-soaked' doll of Russia's president Vladimir Putin has been hanged from a makeshift gallows outside a Russian embassy.

In an image posted to Reddit on Saturday March 26, a figure resembling Putin dressed in a suit is hanging by the neck at the gates of Russia's embassy in Norway.

Across the suited body is a sash reading 'war criminal' in a black font with red smudged below the letters as though they are dripping with blood.

The Putin double has its hands covered in bright red colour, implying the 'blood on his hands' following the outbreak of Russia's invasion into Ukraine from the end of February this year.

The Russia-Ukraine war has since resulted in thousands of casualties including the deaths of innocent civilians, children and soldiers drafted into the war.

The post on Reddit titled 'On the gate outside Russian Embassy in Norway' has received 8.8k votes with 99% upvoted and 191 comments so far.

One user wrote with the most voted comment: "That's clever plus you can re-use it on halloween."

Another replied: "Probably not, Putin will be forgotten by Oct 31st and just remembered like Hitler, let us hope that Putin facing up to his war crimes happens quickly and Putin does a Hitler quickly.

"Putin's legacy will not be the taking of Ukraine, but the break up of the Russian federation and the breakup of NATO, as it will not be needed."

It is not the first time Putin has been re-imagined as a doll.

He may be known for his aggressive 'short-man syndrome' but Russia's president got a whole lot smaller as a voodoo doll.

Putin has become the target of dark magic and creepy superstition in the form of a sea of seven inch figures each impaled with pins.
