Naughty pony relieves himself in front of Queen – and her reaction is brilliant

While the rest of us have to make do with a week or maybe two away from the hustle and bustle of normal life, the Queen spends the entire summer away from London in Balmoral Castle.

Set in the beautiful Scottish highlands, it’s said to be her favourite place and other members of the royal family will join her for a visit during the next few weeks.

When her majesty arrived at the castle ready to begin her summer break, she inspected the guard and met an old pal – the Shetland pony mascot Cruachan IV.

However the cheeky animal picked that exact moment to relieve himself – worryingly close to the Queen’s black shoes. Oops.

But the Queen’s reaction was simply brilliant.

After she spotted what was happening, the 92-year-old appeared to hold her nose and walk off.

And we don’t blame her!

And it’s not just the Queen naughty Cruachan seems to have an issue with, and he tried to bite Prince Harry during his visit to Edinburgh with Meghan Markle earlier this year.

It was the couple’s first official visit, so there were lots of excited fans and well-wishers there to see them.

But when Harry was trying to stroke his nose, but Cruachan clearly wasn’t impressed and snatched at his hand while Meghan giggled next to him.

Cruachan is the mascot of the British army’s Royal Regiment of Scotland.
