Teenager left for dead by paedo rapist after five-hour sex attack when she was three begs for him to be kept in jail

The girl, who remains anonymous but goes by Emma, was snatched and attacked by the beast over a five-hour ordeal before she was tossed naked from a speeding car.

He had been let out of jail — where he was serving a sentence for a child sex offence — on licence that expired two days before pouncing on the defenceless toddler.

Now 16, she has told how vile Sweeney is still a threat to the public — and should spend the rest of days behind bars.

She bravely spoke out as it was revealed the monster, 38, is preparing for a parole application 12 years after being caged, the Mirror reports.

Traumatised Emma, who still suffers flashbacks, told the paper: "He should stay in prison for ever because he will strike again.

“I just think that if you have done something as terrible as this, not once, but twice, and have admitted it in court what right do you have for any kind of freedom whatsoever.

“It is very stressful to think we have to deal with the prospect of him getting out, life should just mean life."

She added: "If I was in front of a judge right now I would just ask him, ‘Would you let this man into a room alone with your child?'"

In a crime that shocked the nation, Emma was snatched from outside her home in January 2006.

Sweeney took her to a grimy hostel in Newport, South Wales where he abused her before fleeing across the Severn Bridge to England — committing further attacks on the way.

His sordid spree was eventually brought to an end when police spotted him jumping a red light.

It sparked a 100mph police chase — with cops not knowing the terrified girl was in the front seat until he launched her out the door.

Sweeney lost control of the car on the A4 near Hungerford, Berks, and was arrested, while bleeding Emma was recovered from the side of the road.

She asked the first hero officer on the scene, PC Marcus Beresford-Smith, "Is the nasty man gone?"

Sentencing him to life at Cardiff Crown Court, Judge John Griffith Williams QC told sick Sweeney: "You have shown yourself to be a thoroughly devious man.

"You kidnapped this little girl for your own sexual gratification".

A campaign launched after the black cap rapist John Worboy's parole fiasco is calling for victims to be given the legal right to make the case against the release of a violent attacker.

A spokesperson for the Parole Board said of Sweeney's case: “We can confirm the parole review of Mr Craig Sweeney has been referred to the Parole Board and is following the standard processes.”
